Order fulfilment is a core part of 3PL logistics, covering the chain from an order placed in your online store through picking, packing, handover to a courier and final delivery to a door or parcel locker.
It is one of the most important parts of e-commerce logistics because speed, accuracy and efficiency directly affect the customer experience.
Process
1. System integration
We integrate order-data exchange between the client’s e-commerce system and the warehouse management system.
2. Order receipt
A new order is transferred to the warehouse, where the system creates a task to pick the required products.
3. Picking
Warehouse staff select the required goods according to WMS instructions and verify the quantities.
4. Packing and labelling
The shipment is packed and labelled as required and the data needed by the carrier is prepared.
5. Dispatch and inventory update
The prepared shipment is handed over to the courier or carrier and stock levels are updated in the WMS.

Advantages
When order fulfilment is managed by a 3PL provider, you gain not only logistics experience but also several practical benefits:

Time
You no longer need to manage everyday purchases of packaging materials, printing of shipment labels or handover to couriers. Your team can focus more on marketing, sales and product development.

Flexibility
As sales and cargo flows grow, warehouse resources can be scaled to match the current level of order activity.

Sistema
The process is managed through the Warehouse Management System (WMS), where products have defined identifiers and locations, helping ensure that the correct goods are picked for each customer order.
FAQ
Simple warehousing primarily covers physical storage of goods. Fulfilment is an end-to-end process designed for sales orders, particularly e-commerce. Goods are received into the warehouse, and when a customer places an order online, the order can be transferred to our system automatically. Warehouse staff pick the products, pack and label them, prepare courier labels and hand the shipment over for delivery. Automation can make the process fast and reduce manual administration.
Our WMS can be integrated with popular e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento and PrestaShop, as well as selected marketplaces. The exact integration depends on the client's platform and technical setup, but the objective is to transmit orders to the warehouse automatically and reduce manual work.
Accuracy is supported by our WMS and barcode-scanning processes. Products are assigned defined storage locations and identifiers. During picking, items can be scanned and checked against the order so the system can flag mismatches before packing, significantly reducing the risk of human error.
We can provide standard packaging materials and generate courier labels as part of the agreed fulfilment service. Clients can also supply branded boxes, packaging, inserts or thank-you cards for our team to use during packing so that shipments maintain the desired brand identity.
