3PL Logistics

Entrust your logistics processes to a team that works with logistics 24/7. 3PL solutions make it easier to adapt to business changes – from seasonal fluctuations to unexpected market shifts. The ability to scale warehousing volumes quickly is particularly relevant for small and medium-sized companies that want to avoid long-term fixed commitments.

We help manage the risks associated with warehousing and transport. We also help prevent unexpected costs caused by missing information, such as port, handling, import/export or customs-related charges that a buyer may not have been made aware of in advance.

What is 3PL logistics?

3PL, or Third-Party Logistics, is a service model in which a company outsources warehousing, packing, delivery and other logistics tasks to a specialised external provider. This can save time, reduce operating costs and allow the business to focus on its core activities.

It is particularly useful for new and fast-growing companies, businesses with seasonal fluctuations, and small or medium-sized companies that do not have suitable warehousing infrastructure of their own.

Process

1. Goods receipt
Cargo arrives at the warehouse, where it is received and checked against the accompanying documents.

2. Quantity and condition check
The quantity and visible condition of the goods are checked, and any discrepancies are recorded and reported to the responsible parties.

3. Registration and warehousing
Goods are registered in the WMS, assigned storage locations and stored according to the agreed conditions.

4. Order receipt and picking
Once an order is received, the required goods are picked, consolidated and prepared for dispatch.

5. Packing and delivery
Where required, goods are packed, labelled and handed over to the selected carrier or courier.

6. Inventory update
After every movement, inventory is updated in the WMS so the client can monitor stock and plan replenishment.

FAQ

What is 3PL logistics and how does it work?

3PL, or Third-Party Logistics, is a model in which a company outsources all or part of its supply-chain processes to an external partner. We receive your goods into our warehouses, integrate with your sales systems and manage storage, order picking, packing and dispatch to your final customers.

The service is particularly suitable for e-commerce businesses, trading companies and fast-growing companies. It can eliminate fixed costs associated with leasing warehouse space, employing warehouse staff and maintaining equipment. With 3PL, you pay according to the warehouse capacity and operations actually used, allowing you to respond flexibly to seasonality.

We use API integrations or dedicated modules to connect e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce or Magento with our warehouse system. Orders can reach the warehouse automatically in real time, and after dispatch the tracking number and updated inventory can be sent back to your system automatically.

3PL pricing is flexible and depends directly on your operating volumes. It generally consists of three main components: goods receipt, warehousing and order processing.

The main documents are a commercial invoice, packing list and transport document such as CMR, Bill of Lading or AWB. Depending on the cargo, certificates of origin, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), export/import declarations or other documents may also be required.
