Reduce logistics costs by up to 30% by storing goods in our new 5,500 m² warehouse in a strategically convenient location close to the Port of Klaipėda terminals.
Many companies importing cargo through the Port of Klaipėda still store it in other Lithuanian cities. However, moving containers from the port to more distant warehouses can create a significant share of local logistics cost.
Our warehouse is designed to manage different cargo types flexibly and efficiently. With modern equipment and an experienced team, we provide professional handling that can help clients save time, reduce operating costs and focus on their core business.
What is warehousing?
Warehousing is a service for storing goods and managing their flow and is one of the key parts of the logistics chain. It is not simply placing goods on a shelf; it covers an operational cycle from receiving and storage through inspection, sorting and labelling to preparation and dispatch to the final consignee.
Warehousing is important for businesses trading physical goods because it supports stable inventory flows, reduces the risk of stock shortages and helps ensure that customers receive goods when required.
Process
1. Arrival planning
We coordinate the cargo-arrival time, transport vehicle, unloading method and the warehouse capacity required.
2. Cargo receipt
On arrival, the cargo is unloaded, accompanying documents are checked and receipt information is recorded.
3. Quantity and condition check
Where required, the quantity of goods, packaging condition and other client-defined criteria are checked.
4. Registration and location assignment
The cargo is registered in the WMS, assigned a specific storage location and the relevant storage conditions.
5. Warehousing and inventory care
Goods are stored according to the agreed guidelines, while their movements and inventory levels are recorded in the warehouse management system.
6. Picking and dispatch
Once an order is received, goods are picked, packed or labelled where required and handed over for onward delivery.

Advantages
Warehousing offers more than a safe place to keep goods. Different warehousing models provide additional operational benefits:

Customs warehouse
Non-Union goods can be stored temporarily under customs supervision before they are released for free circulation, with import duties and taxes suspended under the applicable procedure.

Cross-docking
Cargo is transferred directly from incoming to outgoing transport without long-term storage, helping keep goods moving and optimise delivery processes.

Near the port
A strategically convenient location close to the port can reduce local transport costs because cargo can be stored close to the point where it arrives.
Included services
For your convenience, we can provide a range of services to support the smooth movement of cargo flows:
Long- and short-term storage, sorting, labelling, packing and inventory control.
Order picking, cross-docking and real-time inventory management.
Quality and quantity inspection, detailed inventory records and customs documentation for import, export and transit.
FAQ
One of the main advantages is lower local transport cost. When goods are imported through the port, moving containers to warehouses farther inland can create a significant part of the logistics cost. Storing goods in our 5,500 m² warehouse close to the port can reduce unnecessary local haulage and, depending on the transport pattern, significantly lower costs.
A customs warehouse can hold non-Union goods under customs supervision while import duties and import VAT are suspended until the goods are released for free circulation or placed under another procedure. This can be useful for companies importing larger volumes but selling or distributing the goods gradually, because the timing of import charges can be aligned more closely with actual releases from the warehouse, subject to the applicable customs and VAT rules.
Cross-docking is a service in which goods from incoming transport, for example a sea container that has just been unloaded, are transferred directly to outgoing vehicles with little or no long-term storage. This can accelerate goods flow, support direct distribution to final customers and reduce storage-related costs.
Yes. Our warehouse uses a modern Warehouse Management System (WMS). Goods-receipt, picking and dispatch operations are recorded in the system, and inventory reports can be provided so that you can monitor stock movements, plan replenishment and manage inventory remotely.
